Szechenyi bath



The oldest and most famous bath in Budapest, and also the largest spa complex in Europe, you can’t miss it!

There is inside and outside pools (actually 21 in total) and you pay 5200 forints for the weekdays and 5400 forints for the weekends. The ticket is for the whole day. You can enjoy the pools from 6 am to 10 pm and they often organize some “Sparty” parties there.


House of Terror Museum (Terror haza)

For only 1000 forints for -26 (with your ID) you can visit this amazing museum related to communism in Hungary. This museum contains exhibits related to the fascist and communist regimes in Hungary during the 20th century. It is also a memorial to the victims, including those detained, interrogated tortured or killed in the building.

The visit lasts around 2 hours and you can rent an audio guide. Everything is well explained and some rooms really put you in the context of the dictature.


Visit the Parliament

This stunning building that you see in every picture on Google, can also be visited! You can buy the tickets online or directly at the building. You are doing the tour with a guide, and it lasts approximately 45 minutes. You will discover different legislative rooms and also the crown of King Stephen. It will cost you between 1000 and 2000 forint (1000 if you are under 24)

Cruise on the Danube

Do you want to learn some history about the bridges of Budapest, about the different buildings in Buda & Pest, while being on a cruise in the Danube?

There are different types of services: you can choose day or night cruises, dinner included and so on. The prices will obviously vary, depending on what you want.

From our part, we made a cruise during the day, for one hour, we learned so much and the view was amazing (and we got one free drink!)

Eat goulash in a Hungarian restaurant

There are a lot of restaurants in Budapest, offering typical Hungarian cuisine. Among the most famous dish: GOULASH soup, made with meat and vegetables, you are not allowed to miss it!

Prices vary between 850 and 110 Forints, so it is cheap and super good!
