
Why go to Prague ?
The capital of Czech Republic, nicknamed “the city of a hundred spires” has a lot to offer. The city became one of the most popular destinations in Europe, with 4 millions visitors each year. Prague, or Praha, is divided in two by the Vltava River. This river gives to the city an aura of mystery and romance, and you’ll definitely fall in love at first sight. Prague is cheap, and also full with cafes, bars, night clubs that will make your weekend trip amazing.

Sightseeing
In Prague, the most likely to be seen :
John lennon wall, really nice, it pays tribute to the famous singer, and has a lot of graffitis in it. You can take a group picture in front of it as a souvenir !
Prague Castle : the largest ancient castle in the world, with an amazing architecture
Charles Bridge : crowded with a lot of vendors, artists, this bridge offers a wonderful view of Prague and its river.
Cruise on the Vltava River : we recommend to rent the really cheap paddle boats, and have a 1 hour cruise on the Vltava River.
Food
Nice breakfast and brunch : if you want to try really good food, and not that expensive for what it’s worth, try « La Bottega Bistroteka »
Also a lot of nice restaurants and food truck to taste Czech specialties. You can try for a nice evening the Czech restaurant Kolkovna Celnice, you’ll fall in love with the food, and the beer !
Nightlife
Prague is full of nice bars to go during the day or at night. Prices are cheap, especially for the beer,which is really good also.
Prague has the biggest nigh club in Central Europe, called Karlovy Lazne, you must go there if you want to have a great party, or to Chapeau Rouge, with really cheap prices inside. Those two clubs are the most famous there. But there’s also a lot of others, if you walk around the city, you’ll find one for sure.

How to go to Prague ?
To enjoy your weekend trip plenty, we recommend to take the night bus (leaving 23h, arriving 6h15).The Bus company is called REGIOJET. The way to go is about 7 hours and 15 minutes. The going return ticket will cost you around 40 euros in total, about 12130 HUF. Thoses buses are really cosy, and they propose free coffee, hot chocolate, and free wifi during the travel.
The bus stop in Budapest is located at « Népliget ». From Deak Ferenc Ter, you have to take the metro 3 to go there. If it’s too late for the metro, take the the bus 950.
You can also take the bus early in the morning to arrive around noon in Prague, and enjoy your weekend as well.
